The First Clues

As a child, I was endlessly fascinated by the world around me. I loved the sky — the stars, the forecasts, the quiet patterns that suggested life had rhythms beyond what we could see. And just as naturally, I was drawn to the emotional and energetic rhythms within people.

I felt the emotional and energetic atmosphere long before I understood the words for it.

Where It All Began

People often ask me how this work began for me, and I always smile — because in many ways, it began long before I arrived. I like to say it started the moment I was conceived in my mother’s womb. I was the fourth child, after three older brothers. Until then, my mother lived with my grandparents while my father worked away in the navy, building a life for his family. When she was six months pregnant with me, she moved for the first time — from a quiet village to the vibrant, unpredictable world of Mumbai. A new city, a new chapter, a new beginning. They always say I brought the whole family together. And honestly, I believe it — I’ve been bringing people together ever since. (Some things really do start early.) My grandparents carried energetic and spirit‑world depth; they sensed things before they unfolded. My parents lived with strong values, a belief in karma, and a quiet trust in the unseen threads that shape human experience. My mother was the emotional anchor — intuitive, warm, steady. My father carried a kind of emotional intelligence and softness rarely seen in men of his generation. They came from a beautiful village into a completely different world, and even with all the challenges of that transition, they lived what they taught us — the importance of relationships, the strength of being human, and the freedom to make our own choices. Their journey showed me how to hold the balance between modern life and emotional, intuitive wisdom. They showed me that places change, circumstances change, but emotions and relationships are what anchor us. So yes — the energetic inheritance from my grandparents, the emotional and intuitive intelligence from my parents, and my own soul’s purpose all weave into why I do this work today. And I owe it to my family.

The Places and Transitions That Shaped Me

I was conceived in my ancestral North Indian village, born in Mumbai, raised in Goa, moved to Pune after marriage where we built our first home, our corporate life, and conceived our child — and eventually created a life and home in the UK. My story is not about geography — it’s about the shifts, phases, and emotional landscapes that shaped me. As a child, I moved through different schools, friendships, and social environments. Each change invited me to understand people quickly, sense the atmosphere of a space, and find my place in unfamiliar settings. Growing up around children, teenagers, adults, and elders helped me recognise the subtleness in how people feel, relate, and express what they cannot yet articulate. During my master’s in Goa, I met the man who would become my husband — a connection that happened at a soul level, beyond religion, culture, or expectation. Choosing each other meant choosing understanding over labels, and building a life that honoured both our worlds. Marriage took me to Pune, where life expanded in many directions at once — stepping into corporate leadership, creating our first home together, and entering motherhood. It was a period of grounding, building, and growing into a new version of myself. Another chapter opened when we moved to the UK — a shift that asked even more of my inner world. We began creating a new sense of belonging in a different culture, a different home, and a different rhythm of life. It was another layer of becoming, another opportunity to understand who I was in a completely new environment. Across all these phases, one thing stayed constant: I could always feel people — their emotions, their shifts, their unspoken stories — no matter the place, age, or environment. These lived experiences shape the way I work today: With professionals and business leaders, because I understand ambition, responsibility, and identity from the inside. With kids and families, because I grew up inside multigenerational emotional fields. With relationships, because I’ve lived the beauty and complexity of an inter‑religious, intercultural partnership. With homes and business spaces, because I’ve created home after home across continents and felt how spaces hold emotion and memory. Moving through so many phases of life allowed me to see humans as humans — beyond belief, culture, or geography. It helped me meet people where they are, understand how they feel, and support them through the changes that shape their lives — because I’ve lived enough shifts to know that every unprocessed moment quietly influences how we show up in the world. And when we release what we’ve been carrying, we begin to lead our lives with more clarity, steadiness, and freedom.
